June Through August was an incredibly busy time for me. In addition I originally wanted Heather Meloche to write the next part but she was unable to so my story plans have changed a little bit. All the remaining parts of this story can be found at http://www.eskimo.com/~ash and I believe ftp://ftp.eskimo.com/~ash but I am not one hundred percent sure about the ftp address because I use the World Wide Web myself. The story may also be found in the Archive maintained by Clyde Meli mail Clyde at cmeli@unimt.mt for more info. Williams Revenge Part 8 The Final Chapter Being The Utter Conclusion Of Williams Revenge And The War Of The Rose "I cant write it!" Heather Said "You arent thinking straight it wont fix things because I am not that Heather. We are the same person but the difference in worlds is such that it makes no difference who writes it, although you are probably the best choice William Because you are somewhat impartial on that world." "Very Well" William Sighed here goes..... The Tardis cut through the dimensional wall quite quickly arriving quite conveniently at the very end of the War of The Rose. "But I have a better idea," Splat told her. "I will make the memory of the Infidel vanish from everyone. It will have happened, but none of you will have known it happened. Of course, I will monitor all the specs I can to make sure none of you find a floating copy and refer to this as before." "But a lot has changed," Vanessa called out. "Not anymore." Splat typed furiously and everyone vanished slowly. He was soon standing alone in a large open field. "Now they're all back to where they were before all of this insanity started." He held up two glass jars. "I will take good care of you two and read you regularly just so that you will not fade." The jars began to glow. "Since I'm the only one who remembers both of you, I have to keep a close eye on you." I afraid that you in fact are not the only one who remembers those events. The Doctor said stepping out of the Tardis. "What are you doing here?" Splat Said "You were written out along time ago" "It will take a long time to explain." The Doctor Said "Time We Dont Have" William Said joining the Doctor. "But I just sent you Away!" Splat exclaimed "And Us as well" The rest of the party said leaving the Tardis. "Damn This story is supposed to be over." "And we all agree with you" The Doctor Said. "I suppose we had better explain it all to him." William Said And they did it took a bit of time but eventually the entire story about the alternate time line and reality failure was out. "So how do we correct it." Splat Asked. "Well we stop using these for one" William Said gesturing to his Reality Rewriter. He pressed several keys and both his and Splats vanished "The sequence I developed will delete rewriters everywhere and will prevent others from being made." "Yes but that still leaves the problem of the existing tear in reality" Vanessa said. "That I have figured out" Data said "With the help of Dr. Beckett and his computer." "Go Ahead Data" Picard instructed. "In order fix reality we must resolve the conflict of the War of the Rose differently. Splats ending was effective but it failed in that the events occurred but were simply forgotten. At any rate if Dr. Beckett resolves the War of The Rose there is a 99.985% chance that he will leap out and take Alia with him, this should cause a chain of events causing reality to separate into its individual components." "There is however a problem" Sam said "How do we go about resolving the War of the rose. Splat has taken the action already and if we travel back in time he will simply write us out as well as the original characters." "I believe I can assist you with that" The Doctor said "It is somewhat dangerous but it worked out correctly with the Brigadier. If we bring the Splat from this world at this time in contact with the Splat from this world at that time. It will create a violent reaction and knock them both unconscious, the human mind is too frail to handle the paradox." "Very Well" Splat said "so long as I dont explode or something." "I am relatively certain that will not happen" The Doctor said. "Relatively?" Splat asked. "Absolutely" The Doctor replied hastily. The group piled into the Tardis and took a brief leap back in time. "You'd be creating a time loop," Meredith said. (Journalists are very observant and catch on quicker than most people. I should know.) "We'd be living out these stories over and over, trying to stop it." "It'd be like that Star Trek: The Next Generations episode where they relived those days over and over," Heather said, realizing what would happen. "Then I can never destroy this idea." "But I have a better idea," Splat told her. "I will make the memory of the Infidel vanish from everyone. It will have happened, but none of you will have known it happened. Of course, I will monitor all the specs I can to make sure none of you find a floating copy and refer to this as before." "But a lot has changed," Vanessa called out. "Indeed it has" Splat from the future said and in the confusion touched his past self knocking them both unconscious. Williams program quickly caught up with the rewriter here preventing it from being used as well. "Whats Going On Here" This Worlds Heather Asked. "Well The Alternate Heather Said "It will take allot of time to explain but basically the reality rewriters broke down the walls of time, space, and reality causing shear chaos. It was even worse then the time loop effect you were just talking about and it will continue to grow worse if you I mean me I mean whatever, if all of us dont make peace with each other." "You See" Sam said fulfilling his role "As spec writers you are all a happy family, you also seem to share some form of beneficial collective insanity. Unfortunately sometimes things get out of hand. In this case the war of the rose resulted from the infidel and in turn produced Williams Revenge, which strangely is not about revenge at all. Anyway when you got caught up in the insanity you forgot for a moment the very important fact that you are in fact a family." Every one seemed to look a little ashamed even the one from the Williams Revenge story line who had already received a similar speech from Mick as the Earth Mother. "I guess things did get out of hand" Vanessa said. "I do too" Heather said "I never knew it could mess things up so badly." "Friends Again" Vanessa Asked "Always Heather" responded every one smiled. And then Sam hugged Alia and a Blue Aura enveloped them both, The waiting room door opened and Al stepped through. "Well" the alternate Heather said "It is time for us to return to our own timeline" "Yes." Heather said "well it was nice meeting me" "I enjoyed meeting Myself as well" Slowly the humans and vampires from the Williams Revenge story line faded out as reality separated itself. Only the Doctor, data, Picard, Kirk, and others from the distant future remained. As did Splat from the future. Romana picked up Splat and the piled into the Tardis. The Doctor then placed Splat in his proper time, and after returning the rest to there proper times kind of floated in space for a moment. "You know Romana" The Doctor said "The Tardis seemed far to cooperative throughout that fiasco" "I agree" She replied. "Well I guess it is time to see if it is functioning more like her old self again." With his eyes closed the Doctor hit a few buttons and flipped a lever. THE END
